MID-LEVEL PROJECT FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a top AmLaw 50 national law firm, is seeking a highly-motivated, dynamic Mid-Level Project Finance Associate Attorney to join their Finance Practice Group and Energy Sector .

This position is available in Houston, Los Angeles, Madison, Milwaukee, New York, or Washington, DC .

Candidate Profile :

• JD from an ABA-approved law school with a strong academic record.
• Bar admission in applicable jurisdiction; in good standing .
• 3 5 years of substantive experience in renewable energy project finance or tax credit transactions .
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents, including credit agreements and tax equity documents .
• Proven capability to conduct thorough reviews of project documents, manage subject-matter specialist reviews, and close transactions effectively.
• Background in a large law firm is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to excel in client-driven, complex environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional analytical abilities, are required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide legal services in renewable energy project finance and tax credit transactions.
• Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, such as credit agreements and tax equity documents.
• Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team to advance the long-term strategic objectives of the Energy Sector.
• Manage due diligence and subject matter review specialists review and oversee the closing of complex renewable energy transactions.
