Job Summary :

This position will ensure that the health care needs of all clients are met at Traditions of Preston Assisted Living.  The Clinical Nurse Manager, RN will ensure that staff is trained in assisted living procedures and policies which are current and up to date.  The Clinical Nurse Manager, RN will also ensure that the assisted living community is in compliance with current Assisted Living License regulations.  Working cooperatively with the Executive Directo r , supervise the delivery of services provided to the clients and supervises staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of assisted living services, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations. Participate in licensing surveys and maintain readiness.
• Complete client assessments, care plans, and service agreements; ensure timely updates based on changes in condition.
• Monitor resident health, manage medication administration (including pillbox prep and documentation), and communicate with physicians and caseworkers as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation of resident care, services, incidents, and compliance tasks.
• Investigate and report suspected neglect or abuse per state guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of assisted living best practices and regulatory updates.
• Support infection control programs and oversee medication and treatment protocols.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate unlicensed personnel; ensure staff competency in delegated tasks.
• Provide and document ongoing staff education and in-service trainings.
• Foster communication across departments and with residents, families, and care partners.
• Support staff with on-call availability for medical concerns or emergencies.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve services and support resident quality of life.

Possess a sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly.

Must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
