ABOUT YOU :
- You have a deep background in text-to-speech and related fields.
- You are passionate about keeping up with the latest research and techniques within the field.
- You're even more passionate about designing and implementing industry-leading solutions.
Requirements :
- Significant prior exposure to one or more speech synthesis techniques such as :
- concatenative synthesis
- rule-based formant-synthesizers
- statistical-parametric speech synthesis based on HMM's
- articulatory synthesis
- Excellent C / C++ coding skills.
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering, algorithm design, and analyzing complex systems.
- Self-starter with the ability to track and monitor your own workload.
- Proven ability to deliver complex solutions from end to end.
- BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
NICE TO HAVES :
- Prior exposure to any of the following fields :
- audio DSP
- prosodic modeling
- morphological analysis
- text-to-phoneme conversion
- pronunciation modeling
- computational linguistics
- machine learning
- text processing
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Proficiency with one or more scripting languages.
