Nursing Assistant - EMH Inpatient Operating Room

Work Schedule :

1.0 FTE, 40 hours / week. Monday through Friday with (8) eight-hour shifts : 9 : 00am - 5 : 30pm. No Weekend, Holiday or On-Call rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.

Pay :

UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

External hires may be eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus.

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to :

• Be knowledgeable and assist with room / equipment preparation prior to surgeries.
• Coordinate preventative equipment maintenance in accordance with safety standards.
• Arrange specimen transport and testing for the Inpatient Operating Room.
• Assist with patient positioning, patient transport, intentional rounding, stocking, and ordering equipment.
