Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the operation and quality of output on assigned production line(s)
Ensure line start up, shut down and daily maintenance tasks are executed
- Coordinate equipment and line sanitation
- Coordinate execution of production line standard operating procedures
- Seek out support of Manager, Kitchen and Enrobing for corrective action when needed
Facilitate breaks for line workers to ensure production output is maintained
Assist in the training and development of new production workers
Trouble shoot production line issues, make in process corrections and / or halt production if necessary
Work cooperatively with Manger, Kitchen and Enrobing to achieve output and quality goals
Make suggestions and execute improvements to increase productivity and quality
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
DAILY TASKS
- Feed candy production line, ensure production positions have needed supplies e.g. boxes and toppings
- Communicate with kitchen on production timing for candy that is time sensitive
- Execute daily production plan
- Ensure each position of the production line is cleaned and sanitized at the end of day
- Machine specific maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
1 year of manufacturing supervisory experience
