- Responsibilities : Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to conduct research and development (R&D) tax credit consulting services, including leading client interviews and discussions, performing tax technical research, and developing business and industry expertiseLead federal tax consulting services, including accounting method assessments, design and implementation of products related to revenue and expense recognition, capitalized items, fixed assets, and inventoriesCommunicate directly with client personnel, including operations, finance, accounting, and engineering and sustain excellent client relationshipsManage and implement multiple projects simultaneously, which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering and coordination of KPMG and client resourcesAssist in new business development, including add-on business, while sustaining excellent client service by networking within the firm and building on existing relationships outside of the firmLiaise with members of KPMG's National Washington Tax practice on various technical mattersQualifications : Minimum eight years of recent experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience, including experience in accounting methods and credit servicesBachelor's degree from an accredited college / universityLicensed CPA, EA or JD / LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing;
- any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations / credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations / credentials;
