Position Overview

The Project Manager will have the responsibility of the planning, procurement and executions of all projects. They are the first point of contact for any issues or discrepancies arising from any department before the problem escalates.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities

• Takes over project from ales after receiving purchase order from customer
• Manage timing of all projects simultaneously while maintaining a clear overview
• Coordinate execution of project deliverables to meet timing and quality targets
• Identify risks to project deliverables and develop action plans to mitigate
• Manage / direct all major milestones : documentation, design freeze, machine acceptance, machine sign off, project wrap up
• Maintain lines of communication between customer suppliers and all involved departments
• Confirm project meets all specifications
• Works with after sales to ensure spare parts are coordinated
• Work with production systems supervisor on scheduling machine builds, service technicians and managing internal resources
• Work closely with sales and provide technical assistance and engineering and cost consideration expertise
• Generate purchase orders for equipment
• Prepare weekly status update to management including actual / budget costs, project timing, open issues, action items and risks
• Manage customer proposals, PO’s, invoice and payment schedules
• Track project expenses and profitability
• Provide feedback on product needs and processes
• Identify existing capability gaps and contribute to the development of core technical capabilities
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience with 2k Meter-mix and / or dispensing equipment for reactive resins a plus
• General knowledge of pneumatic controls and electrical controls a plus
• Technically orientated and perceptive in manufacturing systems

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with an engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project and outlook

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Office and warehouse environment (non-controlled temperature environment)
• Travel maybe required on short notice
