Job Description

Data Engineer, Senior Associate

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Associate Data Engineer to be part of our team of top-notch technologists. You will lead and deliver technical solutions for large-scale digital transformation projects.

Working with the latest data technologies in the industry, you will be instrumental in helping our clients evolve for a more digital future.

Your Impact :

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as AWS and / or GCPIAM module.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and design scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
• Monitor, optimize, and scale cloud infrastructure resources to ensure performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, including performance bottlenecks, network connectivity, and resource contention.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and policies for cloud infrastructure design and operations.
• Stay current with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Have good understanding of tools like Jenkins, helm charts, Kubernetes etc.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience :

• Demonstrable experience in data platforms involving implementation of end to end data pipelines.
• Good communication and willingness to work as a team.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the leading public cloud data platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud-preferred).
• Implementation experience with column-oriented database technologies (i.e., BigQuery, Redshift, Vertica), NoSQL database technologies (i.

e., DynamoDB, BigTable, Cosmos DB, etc.) and traditional database systems (i.e., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

• Experience in implementing data pipelines for both streaming and batch integrations using tools / frameworks like Glue ETL, Lambda, Google Cloud DataFlow, Azure Data Factory, Spark, Spark Streaming, etc.
• Ability to handle module or track level responsibilities and contributing to tasks hands-on.
• Experience in data modeling, warehouse design and fact / dimension implementations.
• Experience working with code repositories and continuous integration.
• Experience in Financial Services Data Engineering preferred.

Position Level : Senior Associate L2

Pay Range : $130,000 - $160,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
