Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Inspector in Everett, WA.

As a Quality Inspector you will :

Competently use : Documentation including but not limited to Work Instructions, Operating Procedures, blueprints / drawings / schematics, packing slips, purchase orders, etc.

Tools including but not limited to calipers, micrometer, sunnen gauge, bore gauge, etc. to accurately measure / inspect parts including but not limited to purchased parts, machined parts, raw materials, components, assemblies, subassemblies, units, and end items.

• Participate in measurement error studies to determine unwanted variation
• Correctly perform in-process inspections of manufactured parts and sub-assemblies
• Prepare and test material samples, as well as clean up of tools
• Prepare associated paperwork and computer transactions for both accepted and rejected parts per specific instructions
• Ensure all calibration standards are maintained
• Follow all environmental health and safety policies and procedures, models safe work practices
• Responsible for contributing to and supporting a positive and respectful workplace environment.

This is a full-time contingent opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0-2 years’ experience as a quality inspector or relevant role in a manufacturing environment
• Aerospace or other highly regulated industry preferred
• Certified in Flight Safety preferred
• Rockwell Eddy Current preferred

Pay rate : $26-$29 / hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
