Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Stepdown Heart and Vascular Unit

Shift : Nights / 7p-7 : 30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, every other weekend / holiday

Length : 13 or 16 weeks

Requirements : OH RN License

OH RN License

1.5 years experience

Must Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment

ACLS

IV Start

Cardiac drip titration

Some level 1 or 2 preferred

Travel experience preferred

Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Trauma Level I Experience preferred

Trauma Level II Experience preferred

Their application MUST show some 1 : 5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it.

Must have the following requirements :

• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
• BLS, ACLS, IV start, NIH & cardiac drip titration - must be able to read and interpret strips
• Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered / needed.
• 1.5 years exp some level 1 or 2 is preferred
• Travel experience preferred

Specialty includes pre and post-op open heart management including CABG, valve, mitral clip & TAVR, thoracotomy, etc. Lung cases including pneumothorax, hemothorax, chest tube, zephyr valve.

Advanced care cardiac patients with continuous telemetry.

Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion.

Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.
