Position : Part-time Speech Language Pathologist
Location : Charlotte, North Carolina
Contract Duration : ASAP - June 7th, 2024
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This position is through the end of the current school year, with the contract running from ASAP to June 7th, 2024.
Responsibilities :
- Provide speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 15 elementary students, ranging in age from 5 to 11 years old.
- Conduct assessments to determine students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy sessions targeting speech and language goals in individual or small group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
Requirements :
- Active NC SLP License.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children with speech impairments, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and other health impairments.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, as there are several bilingual students in the school and surrounding area.
