We specialize in complex open-heart and vascular procedures and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. First-time travelers accepted Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required (must include recent cardiac scrub experience within the past year) Certification : NBSTSA required (NCCT not accepted) Call Requirement : Approx. 10 days / month, including weekends (30-minute response time required) About the Unit Daily Case Volume : ~6 Rooms : 3 active rooms, expanding to 4 daily until 1700 Procedures : Open hearts, vascular, robotics, ECMO, CABG, TAVR, TCAR, EVAR, Impella, lung resections All cardiac procedures except transplants Patient Population : Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Orientation Hours : 36 Traveler-Friendly : Flexible scheduling whenever possible Required Skills & Experience Cardiovascular Procedures CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VAD, pericardial window, laparoscopic cardiac surgery Atrial septal defect repair, cardiomyoplasty, robotic cardiothoracic cases Vascular Procedures AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass, EVAR, TEVAR, vein stripping Additional Skills Aseptic technique, sterilization / disinfection Robotics : hearts, lungs, thoracic procedures (VATS, thoracotomy) Devices : Impella, ECMO Why Join Us?
