The Opportunity :

Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to the DoD.

It is critical for national defense agencies to understand and continuously evolve DoD cyber p olicies . This is the job of a highly skilled DoD Cyber P olicy Analyst and Enterprise Risk Manager like you who will break down complex threats and the policies needed to mitigate into manageable plans of action.

As a DoD Cyber Policy Analyst and Enterprise Risk Manager on our team, you will assist in the evaluation of DoD policy and te chn ical solutions, and the maintenance of Joint Staff risk management policies .

You will use your policy and te chn ical experience to work with the government client, system engineers, system administrators, integrated project team leads, and system support personnel to review, analyze, and assist with mission-assurance risk management recommendations concerning the feasibility, application, and modernization of DoD cyber p olicy .

You will work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission-critical systems and critical infrastructure.

You Have :

2+ years of experience with a DoD Cyber program

2+ years of experience analyzing policies and standard operating procedures

Experience with DoD and NIST directives, instructions, or publications

Experience providing updates and recommendations to senior leadership to brief at meetings

Ability to analyze system details and identify security requirements for emerging systems

Top Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of start date

Nice If You Have :

Experience managing the authorization status of DoD RMF, from step 1 through step 7

Experience with staffing packages for senior leadership using the Enterprise Task Management Sof tware Solution tool

Experience reviewing te chn ical diagrams and data

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;

Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
