Blacklock Financial are partnered with a boutique investment bank who are looking to add an Associate / VP to their team.
The firm are growing rapidly and specialise in the energy, power and infrastructure sectors.
Salary Band - $175,000 - $275,000
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist in and lead the execution of M&A, restructuring and recapitalisation transactions as well as equity and debt financings
- Work with a team on the preparation of pitch books and live deal materials including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses
- Direct the preparation financial analyses to include valuation, DCF, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies analyses
- Analysing business plans and participating in due diligence sessions
- Develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching
BACKGROUND :
- An MBA and 1+ years of investment banking experience as an Associate or an undergraduate degree and 3+ years of investment banking experience
- Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed technical skills including valuation and modelling
- Ability to manage direct junior teams on a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player
- Experience in the power / infrastructure / energy sectors are preferred
- Series 63 & 79 preferred
