About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2221 To $2467 Job Title : Mammography Technologist Job Specialty : Mammography Tech Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of prior work experience as a Mammography Technologist.
Must have 8 hours of training on tomosynthesis. License : Valid State License required at the time of application. Certifications : - BLS- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)- American Registry of Radiology Technologist Mammography Certification (ARRT)(M)- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)- California Mammogram Certificate- California State Fluoroscopy Permit Must-Have : Current number of mammograms performed and CEUs- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a program in Radiology Technology Job Description : Perform mammography imaging procedures efficiently and accurately, following established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.- Maintain equipment and complete required quality assurance checks.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
- Keep accurate and comprehensive patient records.- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare staff.
- Wear scrubs with closed-toe shoes as per the dress code.- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certifications and stay updated on best practices.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements, including booster.*
