Act as first point-of-contact for all of our inbound leads, prospect for new accounts / leads, push opportunities towards 'closed-won'-Manage 'Small Business Accounts'-Engage with accounts via email, phone, and video calls-Work with Customer Service or use portal to place orders for Small Business Accounts-Place regularly scheduled check-in or sales calls to all accounts within assigned book of business-Grow Small Business Accounts by increasing order size and number of active accounts-Graduate accounts to outside reps as determined by qualifying event (account complexity, inventory programs, etc.
Achieve individual performance metrics - goals may include total revenue, number of new Small -Business Accounts, account engagement with portal, quarterly call activities, and / or other metrics as determined by sales leadership-Use existing technology to research accounts, create new records, report on account activities, etc.
Lead the sales team usage of technology and provide guidance / feedback to marketing, technology, sales leadership-Collaborate with marketing team on campaign development and optimization-Utilize internal and external training resources to grow as an expert in the field.
Research and participate in trade shows, industry training, and shadowing the sales process. Pursue industry knowledge and demonstrate expertise in the field-Share best practices and recommendations to improve performance and overall sales effectivenessOther duties as assigned-Background in a sales role (or similar)-Minimum of 2 years print / packaging industry experience-Demonstrate track record of managing inbound leads, prospecting for new business and collaborating with colleagues to close new accounts-Acumen for on-the-job training and growth - willingness to enhance sales, negotiation and industry skills-Able to uncover customer needs and provide relevant presentations / quotes-Able to identify and connect with decision-makers at all levels within organizations-Thorough record-keeping-Uses technology to track prospecting and account activity-Professional networking and trade show experience
