Our client, located in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking an exceptional individual to join their team as a Senior Auditor .
This renowned CPA and business advisory firm is locally owned and recognized as one of the largest in the state. As a Senior Auditor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients in various industries including Manufacturing / Retail / Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Individual / Estate / Gift.
With a hybrid work schedule, this position offers a competitive base salary of up to $140,000 dependent on experience.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the entire audit process
- Review and evaluate audit fieldwork, reviews, and compilations
- Thoroughly analyze financial statements with complete disclosures
- Plan, supervise, and successfully complete routine engagements
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants of varying skill levels
- Develop and nurture client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services
- Assist in firm administrative duties as required
Background Required :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting
- CPA or in the process of becoming a CPA
- Highly motivated and self-driven
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional analytical abilities
- Proficient in preparing financial statements and income tax returns
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and OCBOA
- Extensive knowledge of GAAS
- At least a basic understanding of GAGAS / Yellow Book
- Experience in financial statement compilation, both with and without notes
- Expertise in financial statement audits and reviews
