Responsibilities
include :
- Install, configure, test, and maintain equipment, operating systems, and related software.
- Monitor and maintain the inventory of assets.
- Develop and / or review technical documentation.
- Complete required Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists.
- Remediation of system security findings associated with scans of these devices.
- Assist with planning and migration to a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with other system engineers or application owners to design customer solutions.
Here’s what you need :
- US Government Cyber Security Workforce Compliant (Active Secret Clearance, Security + and Microsoft Server qualified).
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS Administration.
- 2+ years of experience in Azure resources manager (ARM Templates).
- 4+ years of direct, hands-on experience administering Microsoft Server.
- 2+ years of experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and IP configuration
- 2+ years of experience managing / configuring IIS Websites.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft PowerShell, and implementing Group Policy Object within AD.
- Familiar with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience evaluating and tuning systems to maintain performance.
- Experience providing technical assistance to developers and IT personnel.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Experience reviewing logs for technical issues and taking corrective action.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Bonus points if you have :
- Azure Certifications : AZ 104 - Microsoft Azure Administrator, AZ 500, AZ 900 - Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, a HUGE plus.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA) and / or, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Familiarity with Information Assurance (IA) and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
Security clearance :
Active, secret-level security clearance required upon hire.
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline preferred.
- 4-7 years of experience in the information technology field or in a related area.
Work schedule :
Hybrid. Onsite attendance at Fleet Forces Command 3-4 days per week. 1-2 days per week in corporate office or WFH.
