Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to join a government consulting firm for a 100% remote opportunity.

This Jave Developer will work on cutting-edge projects, leveraging skills in both front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

• Design and implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Write efficient, testable, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end components.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications :

• 2-3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Java Developer.
• Active Secret Clearance (requirement)
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred experience

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Compensation :

• Salary ranging from $90,000 to $95,000 per year.
• Fully remote position
