About The Position
Position : Labor & Delivery Nurse
Assignment Length : 13 weeks
Shift Details : 3 weekend shifts, 1 call shift for RNs, 2 call shifts for techs, 3 12-hour shifts
Unit Size : 12 beds
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 2
Required Certifications : AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced), CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP
Scrub Details : Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray scrubs (not provided by hospital)
Floating Requirements : Travelers float first
EMR Used : CPN, Meditach
Other Relevant Skills : Labor and Delivery experience, care of the laboring patient, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, circulating and recovering c / s patients
Additional Information : Procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, c / sections, d&c, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, tub labor
