ResponsibilitiesPerform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical providerResponsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety May provide clerical support for the assigned department to include, but not limited to filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into computer QualificationsJob RequirementsAssociate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic ProgramKnowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures.ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.

  • Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirementsBLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job RequirementsBachelor of Science DegreeOne (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting
