Senior Logistics Coordinator
Our client, a long-time, Florida-based family-owned company in the Tabaco industry is looking for a successful and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join their wonderful team!
Responsibilities :
- Liaisons with Distributors, Customers and Distribution Center.
- Receives and processes orders in coordination with Finished Goods Warehouse personnel.
- Coordinates shipments with carriers and maintains backup documentation.
- Processes invoices and shipping documents and tracks shipments.
- Issues Credit Memos for merchandise returns from Customers and prepares affidavits, as appropriate.
- Addresses customer issues and requests
- Addresses carrier-related issues
- Communicates well and in a timely fashion with immediate supervisor and co-workers, as needed.
- Assists in the tracking of performance and preparation of reports, as assigned
- Reports issues to the Product Logistics Manager for corrective action.

Requirements :
- Knowledge of international standards : ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of Legal and regulatory federal, state, county, and city requirements i.e. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), etc.
- Good Manufacturing Practices
- Good housekeeping, hygiene, sanitation, and pest control practices.
- All safety practices and ensure they request to be properly trained.
- Reporting any potentially unsafe working conditions immediately.
- Reporting any accidents to the Human Resources function promptly
