CLINICAL NUTRITION MANAGER I

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX.

Opening November 2024, this 54-bed facility will be a full-service, acute care hospital bringing an elevated level of care to the rapidly growing area of San Antonio and its neighboring communities to the West.

Position will report to General Manager and ideal candidate will :

• Be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base; preferably have NICU experience;
• have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development;
• Hold a highly visible role interacting with our client and represents the department on medical, nursing and interdisciplinary committees;
• provide operational oversight of the clinical nutrition department;
• work as part of the clinical team and play an integral role with a mission to exceed client satisfaction through the application of Sodexo programs;
• also assist the department in monitoring all Patient Satisfaction indicators (tray audits, host audits, meal rounds & assessments;

work closely with Nursing in Patient Satisfaction arena.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Basic Education Requirement :

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1 / 1 / 24 :

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement :

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD / RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.

In some states and / or facilities the RD / RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification / licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and / or facilities state certification / licensure is required at the time of hire
