Job Description

The Senior Manager, Performance Marketing position will play an integral part of the Fandango Performance Marketing team executing highly visible campaigns for several key brands such as Fandango, Fandango at Home, and Rotten Tomatoes.

This position will help lead and manage the strategy, execution, analysis, and optimization of multiple paid marketing campaigns across several ad platforms.

This position will work closely with various departments to identify and manage areas of opportunity to optimize toward primary KPIs and OKRs.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong focus on applying industry best practices and incorporating data-driven strategies across all areas of paid marketing.

Job Duties

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of paid marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop, lead, and execute paid marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Create a roadmap for continual innovative testing to drive growth and ongoing optimization to drive efficiencies and achieve performance targets.
  • Strong understanding of multiple core advertising platforms including hands-on experience with paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.
  • Oversee the allocation and management of a multimillion-dollar paid marketing budget to maximize ROI across campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, creative, and brand teams to align with companywide business goals and objectives.
  • Strong experience in using marketing automation tools, analytics platforms such as Google and Adobe, and ad management platforms is essential.

Candidates should stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in digital marketing.

  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for effectively liaising with cross-functional teams, presenting campaign strategies and results to stakeholders, and providing clear direction to team members.
  • Coordinate with creative teams to help develop engaging ad creatives, compelling copy, and innovative creative strategies that resonate with target audiences and improve performance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 6+ years of relevant business experience with a strong focus on paid search & paid social.
  • Experience leading a team of paid marketers.
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of PPC principles, tools & methodology.
  • Excellent analytical, prioritization, organizational, and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity and passion for movies and the entertainment industry
  • Basic understanding of core SEO principles and the relationship between PPC and SEO
  • Passion for analytics and digital marketing

Additional Job Requirements

  • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
  • Must be willing to work in the Minneapolis, MN office
