Job Summary :

Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling journey in psychiatric nursing? We're seeking a dedicated Psych RN to join our team at a facility in Douglas CO Nebraska.

As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our patients while working under the guidance of our Director of Nursing.

Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing :

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient observations.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring they understand their treatment regimens.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and staff regarding treatment plans and mental health issues.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to continuously enhance our services.

Requirements :

• Associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current RN license in Nebraska or a compact state, along with CPR, first aid, and CPI certification.
• Previous nursing experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
