VisitWhy CWI (to learn more. Position Summary : The Phlebotomy Principal Teacher is responsible for the training and supervision of students and instructors during the Phlebotomy & Specimen Processing training course.
This position is responsible for providing high-quality instruction, exceptional skills assessment, quality classroom / instructor evaluation, and curriculum facilitation.
The Principal Teacher will also ensure effective utilization of resources, including supplies and classroom management. Essential Functions : - Deliver the approved course of study for Phlebotomy & Specimen Processing, Law Enforcement Officer Phlebotomy and Phlebotomy for Public Health, as outlined in the syllabus, maintaining a student-oriented approach to education.
- Prepare and / or gather current instructional materials / equipment and use required technological equipment and methods for delivery.
- Ensure that all program activities and personnel follow CWI Workforce Development, State of Idaho, and national governing bodies' guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Evaluate teaching effectiveness and classroom quality / fidelity through observation and written, oral and practical feedback, ensuring that what is taught is what is evaluated.
- Partner with local area community partners to provide training opportunities to fulfill needs of the public sector as requested annually.
