JOB DESCRIPTION
A company in Pomona is seeking a Part Time Teacher / Instructor to prepare and deliver lessons to K-12 students. You will lead hands-on experiments and activities, foster collaboration and teamwork among students, and organize friendly competitions.
You will also ensure that students have a safe and fun learning experience. We are seeking hobbyists, teachers and people passionate about teaching children STEM ideas and concepts! We are open to different background and experiences for this role! This program will begin on the second week of September and be an ongoing contract throughout the school year.
You have the opportunity to work breaks as well. The working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 2-4pm and Wednesday from 1-3pm.
This position is paying 28-30 / hr depending on experience and age group.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience managing a classroom
Teaching or instruction experience
