Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location : Glendale, AZ

Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Glendale, AZ.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse student population.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve communication milestones and fostering academic success.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each student's specific needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' overall development.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and pursue professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Arizona state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuing education.
