Accounting Internship Summer 2026

With the Accounting internship, you will work with a mentor to learn what Accountants are and how they play a vital role in the company's success. You will also get opportunities to network by attending diverse social events and meeting leadership in multiple areas.

What You'll Do

Our Accounting internship offers opportunities to :

• Learn about multiple Finance teams at Sentry via direct project work with different areas.
• Prepare a variety of financial statement exhibits and reporting disclosures.
• Review and reconcile financial statements to general ledger data and appropriate data sources.
• Complete Workday finance system maintenance and manage system configuration to address business needs.
• Explore and assess additional Workday functionality in the areas of AI and Machine Learning.
• Assist with automation of financial statements and reports.
• Review data flow between systems. Verify completeness and accuracy of financial transaction processing in accordance with accounting principles and reporting requirements. Troubleshoot data reconciliation issues.
• Assist with support, maintenance, and enhancement of accounting processes and systems.
