Warehouse Inventory Manager
Maintains accurate inventory by performing cycle counts, receiving materials, labeling, pulling items and delivering production materials to each department. Assists warehouse supervisor in supervision of warehouse employees.
Position Responsibilities :
- Leads and assists receiving team in receiving materials and other clerical duties related to receiving goods.
- Arranges daily team meetings to focus on smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Receives inventory, inspects for defects and enters items into stock. Prepares required department records and reports.
- Monitors incoming shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of receiving shipments, signs pack slip to confirm.
- Reports, daily, weekly monthly exporting inventory levels.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock and recording location of inventory.
- Ensures that the inventory team is logging all inventory purchases, conducting physical counts to make sure no theft is occurring and assists with loss prevention.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
- Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials, supplies code, lot number and quantity then placing materials in stock.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Maintaining levels of inventory as required.
- Is in constant communication with departmental managers to ensure inventory is replenished and proper levels are maintained.
- Trains new employees on company and department processes and standards.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Recommends measures to improve productivity, equipment performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Forklift certification / experience.Ability to analyze and problem solve complex data and issues.Continual process improvement focus.Forklift training and certification.UPS Shipping.Position Qualifications :
Education :
HS Graduate or Equivalent.Experience :
3+ years of experience with inventory control.Exposure to safety management.Track record of meeting or exceeding deadlines.Work Environment and Physical Requirements :
