Ourclient is looking for a CNC Operator to perform a variety offunctions. The goal is to produce high quality parts and materialsby operating machines to perform the right operations.
Rawmaterials consist of iron and steel castings steel bar stock andshapes nonferrous materials andplastics.

Responsibilities
- Mustbe able to assist in setup and operate CNC machines to performtasks such as turning facing milling and drillingetc.
- Understandspecifications of the task at hand and the desired result byreading blueprints mechanical drawingsetc.
- Translateinstructions into computer commands so the machines can perform thecorrectfunction
- Prepareand load raw materials and parts onto themachines
- Preparea test run to check if the machines produce outputs according tospecifications
- Setmachines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number ofparts
- Supervisethe machine while they execute the task and make any necessaryadjustments to compensate for tool wearetc.
- Inspectand measure finished products and compare them with requirements todetermine if the process has been completedproperly
- Checkand maintain machinery daily to ensurefunctionality
Requirements
- CNCmilling machine : 10 years(Preferred)
- CNClathe : 5 years(Preferred)
- Provenexperience as CNCoperator
- Skillin setting tooling as well as precisiongages
- Abilityto read and interpret mechanical documents anddrawings
- Basicunderstanding of conversational programming andCAD / CAM
- Mechanicalaptitude and good mathskills
- Highschool diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineeringor relevant discipline is aplus
- Successfullycompleted apprenticeship is aplus
- Familiaritywith Mazak CNC machines is beneficial but notrequired
- MUSThave valid drivers license and reliabletransportation
