CACI is looking for an experienced cloud engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our customer’s cloud migration effort.
As a cloud engineer, you will work with a motivated and experienced team to design, architect, and engineer cloud solutions that incorporate best practices to create a resilient, secure, and highly available cloud ecosystem.
What You’ll Get to Do :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a Cloud Strategy to achieve business objectives, such as cost, scalability, agility, and risk mitigation.
- Participate in technical exchange meetings to explore best approaches to solve cloud migration challenges.
- Design and engineer secure commercial cloud-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.
- Work closely with information system security officers and engineers to incorporate shift left security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work with developers to assess application cloud readiness and make recommendations for deployment to production environments.
- Design and implement automated and resilient solutions to archive security audit data following National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- Skilled at producing technical documentation and engineering diagrams.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
- Active TS / SCI Clearance.
- BS degree in STEM related field.
- 6 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a BS degree.
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud service providers, preferably AWS.
- DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II Certification.
- One or more cloud vendor certifications or CompTIA Cloud+.
- Experience working within a team using Agile project management.
- Experience using DevSecOps framework to build solutions.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have :
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Experience leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC).
- Experience with programming languages, preferably Python.
- Experience using JSON and YAML for automation and configuration.
