Role and Responsibilities
This role is responsible for facilitating administrative tasks for testing services requested by Belmar providers, including customer communications, data order entry, and basic accounting.
Responsibilities include :
- Communicate with patients, providers, and labs as needed via phone, fax, and email.
- Handle sensitive patient information; send lab results to providers.
- Receive lab orders from providers, enter data into invoicing and lab requisitions systems.
- Bill and charge appropriate parties, close out payments on open invoices.
- Coordinate logistics for patient testing; mail out testing kits as needed.
- Use multiple software systems for order processing, account management, and bill pay.
- Maintain electronic records for all steps involved in lab order processing; taking corrective action at any stage as necessary to ensure timely turnaround.
- Set up new patient and provider profiles and monitor profile activity.
- Resolve any logistical, financial, operational, or testing problems that may arise.
- Educate customers about available lab services and pricing.
- Other duties as assigned, including flexing into other Belmar Pharma workflows as time allows.

- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organization and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and work in multiple systems
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and solve problems
Profile / Experience
- Customer service experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, email, internet browsers, etc.

- Reports directly to the MedQuest Pharmacy CXC Manager
