Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services, including two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

What qualifications you will need :

• Required Education : Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years
• Required License : Must be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers;

or be registry eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment. BCLS (Adult).

• Preferred License : ACLS (Adult)
• Required Experience : Cardiology Echo : 2 years practicing as a sonographer. Physician Practice : 0-2 years experience;

will accept new graduates

Preferred Experience : 5 years practicing as a sonographer
