About the Role
What you will do
- Support the commercial team with existing pricing models as well as drive the development of new strategic pricing concepts and go to market strategies
- Develop and support key pricing models to estimate product and portfolio profitability interacting with large data sets and pricing assumptions
- Understand current quote to cash process and identify areas of opportunity to accelerate bookings
- Monitor and review market trends and data, including FinThrive value proposition, unique differentiators and competitive intelligence
- Leverage and maintain internal pricing KPIs to improve and evolve pricing strategies
- Collaborate with product teams and senior leadership to determine differentiated pricing strategies to support sales growth
- Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses in regard to pricing and suggests areas of improvement
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team in budget, forecast, and compliance decisions
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- Involvement in special projects, communication and overall organizational changes related to commercial pricing
- Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction and altering priorities
- Partnering with other internal clients such as contract and legal teams to expedite the client contracting process
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree - Finance, Economics, Mathematics, a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Pricing Strategy
- Detail-oriented aptitude and ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy
- Superbanalytical / quantitative and communication skills
- Ownershipmentality and demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion, with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving ability using statistical analysis or large data sets.
- Athoughtful collaborator mentality- keen focus on understanding business challenges, building strong relationships, and driving even stronger outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to translate complex, nuanced, or detailed analysis into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations
- Comfortabilityin ambiguity, thrive through change, are highly adaptable, and can create clarity and focus in a dynamic environment
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Builder mentality - identifies problems quickly and is eager to build solutions from scratch, not just improve on others work
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
