Hill International is seeking a Scheduler in San Jose, California
- Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule.
- Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
- Work closely with project Cost Analysts and sub-contractors to ensure accurate reporting.
- Analysis of baseline schedule.
- Manage monthly schedule updates.
- Perform schedule time impact analysis of potential delay items and provide. recommendations for delay mitigation.
- Develop schedule contingency analysis.
- Perform contingency drawdown analysis as part of forecasting and trend analysis.
- Evaluate schedule trends and develop mitigation measures to deliver projects on time.
- Monitor and control program compliance in respect to the projects overall contractual obligations.
- Identify detrimental issues and recommend mitigations to those issues as it relates to budget, cost, risk, claims, and schedule activities.
- Facilitate project scheduling meetings and / or interactive planning meetings as required.
- Part Time position
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of scheduling experience on heavy civil projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Rail, Transit or Highway experience preferred.
- Strong background using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Experience with time impact analysis on proposed contract changes.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Hybrid work schedule will be considered.
The salary range for this position is $124,000 - $166,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
