Job Overview
Family is seeking a proactive, flexible and reliable Nanny to provide attentive care for 3 children in a nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, particularly with preschool and toddler age groups, and will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for the children.
This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily routines in a busy household while fostering the children's development through play and learning activities.
Must have flexibility to work every other weekend and also provide overnight care when parents travel. Must love to travel with the family with advanced notice.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
- Organize educational activities that promote learning and development tailored to the children's age group.
- Assist with daily routines.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Provide transportation for children to school and various activities if required.
Experience
- 2 or more years of experience as a nanny is required.
- Familiarity with elementary and preschool education principles and toddler care techniques is a plus.
- A strong understanding of child development stages and the ability to educate through play is essential.
- Must demonstrate reliability, patience, and excellent communication skills when interacting with both children and parents.
