Starr Bus Charter & Tours seeks a proactive, organized, tech-savvy Senior Operations Manager. This crucial role will lead our driving team's safety performance and professional development.
The ideal candidate will promote safe driving behaviors, foster a collaborative environment, and manage training programs to meet or exceed industry standards.
The Senior Operations Manager will collaborate with Starr’s executive team to consistently meet Starr's culture and safety performance standards.
- At least 2 years of safety and operations management experience in the bus or similar transportation industry.
- Excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, and agility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience contributing to a company’s operational and safety strategic plan.
- Expert written and interpersonal communication skills for managing a diverse team.
- Proven track record of safety training with measurable improvement.
- Experience training drivers with the Smith System and / or LLLC Defensive Driving Principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.
- Ability to learn and work with software systems and data export functionality.
- Expert knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations and Drug Clearinghouse.
- Experience administrating an Entry Level Driver Training program (preferred).
- Possess a Class B or higher Commercial Driving License (preferred).
