Soliant has partnered with an excellent school district in Arkansas (AR)to locate candidates for a Special Education Teaching(SPED)position.
This isposition is open to candidates seeking a part-time or full-time virtual / remote role for the 2024-2025 school year.
As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for students with diverse learning needs.
Requirements are as follows :
- Active teacher or special service provider certification or license issued by the State of Arkansas
- Endorsement and / or specialized courses and training in the area(s) of Special Education
- 3 years' minimum experience working with students of diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Details :
- Start date ASAP through end of school year
- Part-Time or Full-Time- make your preference known!
- Caseload : Case management for around 15 students
- Virtual position
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for Exceptional Children.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and behavior.
