Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week full-time contract in Harriman, TN . In this role, youll provide personalized, in-home care to adult and geriatric patients, helping them maintain independence and achieve better health outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a respected national home health agency in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Contract Details :

  • Location : Harriman, TN , and surrounding areas
  • Company : Sunbelt Staffing in partnership with a Nationwide Home Health Agency
  • Contract Length : 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
  • Hours : Full-time, Scheduled 40 hours per week - no guaranteed hours
  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
  • On Call : Typically, one weekend per month
  • Compensation : Negotiable with clientbased on experience and territory budget; paid hourly - not by visit; blended pay packages available for travelers; weekly pay
  • Productivity : 30-32 per week, up to 35 patients per week
  • Mileage Reimbursement : .48c visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected
  • Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, 401 (k) match after 90 days

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using OASIS, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with agency standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter care.
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans, medication management, and other health-related topics.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Homecare Homebase (HCHB), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to patient homes within the area, using reliable transportation.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Adhere to Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
  • Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
  • Oasis certified strongly preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
