We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. This position will oversee the manufacturing processes to make sure the products meet the particular quality standards of the industry.

Implement testing systems for a given product and document the results.

Quality Requirements :

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as having a working knowledge of quality engineering tools (ie : FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Process Capability, Problem Solving Techniques, Acceptance Sampling, and GR & R)
  • Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, thickness gage, micrometers, durometer, and optical measurement systems
  • Knowledgeable in Quality Systems such as IS0-9001
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience
  • Necessary to have good mathematical skills and reasoning ability to apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (ie : formulas, scientific equations, graphs in its most difficult phases) including a variety of abstract and concrete variables
  • Well-organized with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willing to take ownership for work and demonstrate traits of being effective in role of quality team member
  • Initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
  • Oversee that suppliers are meeting standards for raw material by incoming inspection and reporting
  • Conduct quality checks in all departments
  • Work with production team to develop a product that complies with all quality standards
  • Document and control all quality issues
  • Investigate product modifications and prepare reports
  • Work with Production and Engineering on actions related to non-conformance including effective root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Lead efforts to improve and maintain ISO compliance and certifications
