Must-Have :

Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, managing and optimizing the use of GitHub in a professional setting.

Proficient in GitHub and its core features, including repositories, branches, pull requests, and access control.

Strong understanding of software development best practices, version control, and collaboration workflows.

Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell to streamline GitHub access management.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address GitHub-related issues and optimize workflows.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and provide training and support to employees.

Experience with GitHub Enterprise or GitHub Actions for advanced automation and integration.

Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices, and their integration with GitHub.

Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello and their integration with GitHub.

Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements related to GitHub usage.

Monitor and analyze GitHub usage data to identify areas for improvement and optimize the company's GitHub ecosystem.

Stay up-to-date with the latest GitHub features, updates, and industry best practices, and recommend improvements to the company's GitHub strategy.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, DevOps engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of GitHub into the company's software development lifecycle.
