BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist (LSSP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position requires a commitment to providing comprehensive psychological services to support student development and educational success.
Education / Certification Requirements :
- Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) granted by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience in school psychology or related field required.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services.
- Develop psychological evaluation reports and behavior management plans.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committees to support student placement and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Consult with parents, teachers, and external professionals to support student well-being and academic success.
- Provide counseling services as needed.
- Present staff development training and manage psychological services and assessment procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district policies and regulations, including potential supervision of interns or trainees.
