TypicalDay in the Role :
The Content Platform team is lookingfor a Software Development Engineer.
who will act asfirst level support and development for all incoming productionsoftware application issues dealing with merchandisingapplications.
Your solutions will impact our customersdirectly! Primary responsibilities include developing monitoringsolutions troubleshooting / debugging and implementing the fix forinternally developed code (Perl C / C JAVA) performing SQL queriesimproving our systems that gather metrics on our features updatingtracking and resolving technical challenges.
Responsibilities also include working alongside development onClient Corporate and Divisional Software projectsupdating / enhancing our current software automation of supportprocesses and documentation of our systems.
JobQualifications :
The ideal candidate is interested in acareer in software development and is looking to utilize and expandtheir coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of softwareapplications.
They must be detail oriented have superiorverbal and written communication skills strong organizationalskills are able to work independently and maintain professionalismunder pressure.
Preferred coding skills :
PerlC / C and / or Java. Other desired technical skills include Mason PerlCGI Oracle SQL HTML UNIX / LINUX.
A Computer Science orequivalent technical degree and 25 years of relevant experience isrequired.
