Experience : No prior job-related work experience required, but one year of experience in the specialized field of Nuclear Medicine is preferred.
License : ODH licensure required
Certifications :
- CPR Certification required
- Nuclear Medicine registry required
- ARRT RT (R) registry and / or NMTCB
Must-Have : Associate degree in Allied Health, with a major in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Job Description :
- Independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Work within scope of practice and in accordance with certificate / licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
- Coordinate patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department, including radiation protection practices.
- Exercise professional judgment in maintaining equipment in good working condition.
- May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
- May have on-call responsibilities.

- Flu vaccine is required, with medical / religious exemptions possible.
- Local candidates considered for a lower bill rate.
- Any state RN license is acceptable, with the option to apply for a temporary license. Compact licenses are now accepted.
