Job Summary : Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech for evening shifts in Littleton, CO. The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform Ultrasound Procedures :
- Utilize high-frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels.
- Prepare exam room, obtain informed consent, and request an accurate clinical history.
- Review patient history and select appropriate protocols.
- Explain the method of examination, position patient, and perform necessary interventions.
Review and Evaluate Tests :
- Ensure quality, completeness, and correct type of tests ordered.
- Prepare images / exams and needed documentation for physician partners.
Document and Communicate :
- Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
- Inform patient of physicians instructions or ancillary caregivers observations.
- Ensure safe and effective hand-off between shifts.
