Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred (new graduates with strong training considered). A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL , is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a respected community hospital environment.
Position Details
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits for adult and / or adolescent patients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and medication management.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
