Auto Dealership Billing and Title Clerk

$15.90 - $19 Per Hour but We Pay More For Your Experience!

West Herr Automotive Group is looking for a Full-Time Billing and Title Clerk to complete motor vehicle registration paperwork and process accounting of vehicle purchases. Experience is preferred. Responsibilities - Billing and Title Clerk :

  • Complete motor vehicle registration paperwork
  • Prepare tax and title documents on a timely basis
  • Record incoming titles daily according to established procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems specific to titles, odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner
  • Reconcile schedules
  • Process incentives
  • Verify all deal contents and issue payoff checks for trade-ins
  • Post all sale transactions to accounting
  • Verify the accuracy of posting through reporting systems in place
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

    • Qualifications / Requirements - Billing and Title Clerk :

  • Prefer Auto Dealership Tag & Title Clerk and / or Billing Clerk experience
  • Research skills and ability to analyze the information required to perform job duties
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Outstanding attention to detail, confidentiality, and organized
  • A good work ethic takes initiative
  • Professional appearance and good communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
