Scaletta Armoring, an automotive remanufacturer located in Bedford Park, IL has an immediate need for a Shipping / Receiving & Inventory Support Specialist.

Shipping / Receiving & Inventory Support Specialist

Responsibilities include :

• Shipping - arrange shipments, schedule pick-ups, and prepare applicable shipping documents.
• Receiving - check and sign delivery slips and assist with unloading, as necessary
• Verify packages according to packing slip and PO (Quantity and Quality).
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
• Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control in the stockroom; distributing items / merchandise & adjusting inventory quantities as needed.
• Operate forklift (sit-down & standup) or other equipment to assist in loading, unloading, and / or storing merchandise.
• Maintain storage areas, organize, and place stock on shelves. Ensure the area is always secure.
• Physically move parts and supplies as needed to support production.
• Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves of inventory.

Requirements :

• Solid computer skills & knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
• Ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to move and lift boxes up to 30 lbs
• Forklift use & certification
• Knowledge of safe storage, handling, and shipping procedures for various items / materials.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize
• Excellent punctuality and attendance
• U.S. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR ALL POSITIONS*
