Senior Tax Accountant
Vaco Boston is partnered with a prominent litigation firm hiring a Senior Tax Accountant to join its team.

There is a hybrid work schedule during the non-busy season with two remote days and three days in the Boston office. We encourage anyone to apply, even if they don't seem to check off every requirement.
Duties :
- Responsible for a variety of tax services including complex tax preparations and returns, partnerships, charitable, fiduciary, and private accounts.
- Closely partner with the Tax Director and provide backup coverage for the Director in case of needed circumstances.
- Provides expert tax advice to the Director and other Tax Accountants.
- Mentor the Junior Tax Accountants as an available resource.
- Perform additional assigned projects.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 8 years' experience.
- Degree required with a Masters in Taxation preferred.
- Prior tax accounting experience in a mid-size or larger professional industry is preferred.
- Able to work on significantly complex tax preparations with minimal direct supervision.
- Knowledge of applicable tax codes and changes to the tax code.
